Early Release/Parent-Teacher Conferences

Monday, November 6 students will be released early at 1:30. Parent-Teacher conferences will begin at 1:30 and go through 6:30. If you haven't already arranged for a conference time please call the school and see what's available. 

Health & Wellness Committee

Child Outreach Screenings

The Child Outreach program in the Northwest Region will be offering FREE screenings in vision, hearing, speech, and development for all pre-school children between 3 and 5 years of age, living in the towns of Burrillville, Foster, Glocester, North Smithfield and Scituate. This service is provided by the school districts in the above mentioned five towns.
Parents are encouraged to have their children screened beginning at age three and then annually until they enter Kindergarten. Appointments for screening can be made by contacting Julie LePain, Child Outreach Coordinator at 647-7560 or Unless otherwise indicated, regular screening hours are from 8:45 am until 3:00 pm.

IMPORTANT - Calendar Changes

All Parents and Families:

Due to some confusion surrounding the Federal vs State observance of the Veteran's Day holiday and some busing issues, our school calendar will need to be revised. The federal government is celebrating Veteran’s Day on Friday, November 10th but RI will observe the holiday on Monday, November 13th.  

As a result, we will need to revise our 2017-18 school calendar.  We will change our observance of the holiday to Monday, November 13.  School will be in session on Friday, November 10.  

In addition, this means the Early Release Day will be changed to November 6th.   Parent Conferences will be held November 6th instead of November 13th; same time 1:30-6:30 pm.

We apologize for the confusion and inconvenience this has caused.  Please call the school with any questions.

Sea to See!

Jim Hutchinson will be riding his bike from St. Augustine, Florida to San Diego, CA starting on September 3. Why would anyone do that??? Jim is trying to bring awareness and raise funds for the OA Foundation. Jim's grandson James is a student at Fogarty and has extremely limited vision caused by a genetically inherited condition known as Ocular Albinism. We all will be following his journey through his website Tune in and watch his progress and donate! Go Jim!!!
