IMPORTANT - Calendar Changes

posted Sep 6, 2017, 6:34 AM by Glocester Webmaster   [ updated Sep 6, 2017, 6:37 AM ]

All Parents and Families:

Due to some confusion surrounding the Federal vs State observance of the Veteran's Day holiday and some busing issues, our school calendar will need to be revised. The federal government is celebrating Veteran’s Day on Friday, November 10th but RI will observe the holiday on Monday, November 13th.

As a result, we will need to revise our 2017-18 school calendar.  We will change our observance of the holiday to Monday, November 13.  School will be in session on Friday, November 10.

In addition, this means the Early Release Day will be changed to November 6th.   Parent Conferences will be held November 6th instead of November 13th; same time 1:30-6:30 pm.

We apologize for the confusion and inconvenience this has caused.  Please call the school with any questions.

Thank you,

Mrs. Mokaba
